A thrilling adventure featuring a detective plot and elements of historical fantasy. The story is based on the novel by Belarusian writer Vladimir Korotkevich. The story follows young professor Anton Kosmich, a historian, who finds himself mysteriously transported to the Middle Ages. He must unravel the secrets of past millennia. Notably, parts of the film are set in the present day as well.
